As of this moment, there has been no official word from Epic Games detailing an exact release date for the next chapter in the Fortnite saga. That being said, it is reasonable to assume that its release date will fall on Dec. 5 given the many similar speculations found online.

Although the date should be taken with a grain of salt, noteworthy industry insiders like Tom Henderson have backed this supposed released date. If this is to be true, players should expect Fortnite to be down between Dec. 3 and Dec. 5 in order for the developers at Epic Games to prepare for the next chapter.
