The highly anticipated Fortnite live event featuring the giant Titan Hand has been delayed, and fans are wondering when the in-game event is happening now.

With Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 just one week away, Epic Games is starting to produce in-game teasers that hint at the new theme, lore, and weapons coming in the major update. For the past week, random earthquakes have shaken the island, producing cracks in the earth that will eventually reveal a massive Titan Hand holding Pandora's Box. The in-game live event was supposed to happen on Feb. 29, but there is currently no sign of the Titan Hand.

The Fortnite live event finally showcasing the giant Titan Hand breaking through the earth has been delayed. Although several leaks reported the event would happen today, Feb. 29, 2024, the hand is still nowhere close to appearing on the island.

There are still earthquakes happening every hour, creating deeper cracks in the earth just outside of Ruined Reels, but the Titan Hand is no closer to appearing today than it was earlier in the week.

The delay comes after several relaible Fortnite leakers claimed the in-game event would occur at 11 a.m. ET. Then, they moved the time back to 12 p.m. ET. Finally, they predicted the Titan Hand to erupt at 2 p.m. ET. So far, none of the times have been accurate.

Therefore, fans likely need to sit through plenty of more earthquakes before the Titan Hand live event occurs in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1. As of now, reliable leakers do not have a new predicted time for the in-game live event.

Until Epic Games or a new, credible leak surfaces, the Fortnite community will simply have to wait for the exciting Chapter 5 Season 2 teaser.
