Fans loving Fortnite Chapter 4 Season OG only have a couple more weeks to play the iconic Chapter 1 map before Fortnite OG ends.

Fortnite OG transformed Fortnite Chapter 4 in November 2023. Not only did the OG map return with beloved POIs like Tilted Towers and Greasy Grove, but weekly weapon updates brought back the Pump Shotgun, Heavy Sniper Rifle, and more. A record-number of players hopped on the Battle Royale to experience the nostalgia and test their luck on the iconic map after so many years.

So, how much longer do fans have to play Fortnite OG before it disappears?

Here's When Fortnite OG Ends

Fortnite OG ends on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, at 11:30 p.m. ET. The throwback season will be replaced with Chapter 5 after The Big Bang live event.

The Big Bang kicks off at 2 p.m. ET on Saturday, Dec. 2. The event is rumored to introduce the LEGO, Rocket Racing, and Rhythm modes coming in Fortnite Chapter 5. The Big Bang will be the first true in-game live event since Fortnite Chapter 3's Fracture. Those who participate in The Big Bang will earn an Eminem skin.

The end of Fortnite OG also signals what is likely the last time the OG map will be available to play in traditional Battle Royale. Fortunately, leaks revealed the map could be staying in Fortnite Creative as a playable island.

Epic Games has yet to comment on the future of the OG map in Fortnite Chapter 5.
