Here are the minimum and recommended specifications for those looking to play Homeworld 3 when it releases on PC.

Being that the official Homeworld 3 system requirements will likely not be released by Blackbird Interactive until sometime next year, players should try to make sure their PC specs are around the ballpark of these recommended and minimum requirements.

Here are our projected recommended PC specs for Homeworld 3 on high graphics settings at 1080p:

  • OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-950 (3.0 GHz) / AMD FX-4300 (3.8 GHz)
  • Memory: 12 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 770 (2048 MB) / Radeon HD 7770 (1024 MB)
  • Storage: 30 GB available space

According to Blackbird Interactive's dev update website for Homeworld 3, the game remains a work in progress with the team continuing to push for its expected Q4 2022 release. Out of the game's six development stages listed by Blackbird Interactive, Homeworld 3 still remains in the first "Pre-Production Stage."

We are taking our time with those major marketing assets because it's critical to get them right and grow the Homeworld audience.
