How to Evolve Dusclops into Dusknoir in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

We have created a guide to help Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl players evolve their Dusclops into Dusknoir.

Dusclops and the Pokémon it evolves from, Duskull, can be found throughout the game, but finding the final evolution, Dusknoir, can be challenging. Therefore, players will have a better chance of obtaining Dusknoir by evolving it from Dusclops.

Duskull and Dusclops can be found in the same location: The Grand Underground. A note to players, Dusclops will be appear in the same dens as Duskull once trainers have unlocked the National Dex. By exploring the different caves of the Grand Underground, there is a chance of running into Duskull. The Pokémon is commonly seen in the Stargleam Cavern and Dazzling Cave.

How to Evolve Dusclops into Dusknoir in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Evolving Duskull into Dusclops only requires players to level up the Pokémon to level 37. In order to evolve Dusclops to Dusknoir, Pokémon trainers must acquire the item: Reaper Cloth.

Once the item is obtained and given to Dusclops to hold, players must then trade the Dusclops with the Reaper Cloth item in order to evolve it into Dusknoir.

Reaper Cloth can be found in different areas throughout the game. First, there is a Reaper Cloth located on Route 229. By cutting down a tree near Ace Trainer Dana, players can obtain a Reaper Cloth on the other side.

There is also a Reaper Cloth in Turnback Cave where Giratina can be seen and caught. If players can get to the room in three tries, the Reaper Cloth will appear where Giratina usually appears.

Finally, a Reaper Cloth can be acquired near the entrance to Lake Acuity. Trainers need the move Rock Climb in order to get the item.
