How to Turn on Guess Pitch in MLB The Show 20
To turn on Guess Pitch, go to the main menu, then to user settings. Scroll down to the bottom of hitting settings, and there should be a Guess Pitch option.
When you are at-bat, hold down R2 and then press either X, Circle, Triangle, or Square. Each of the buttons represents a different type of pitch, and when guessed correctly, your player will have successfully hit the ball.
In addition to guessing the pitch type, you will also be tasked with guessing where the ball will go in your strike zone. Holding R2, decide which button to press and use your L-stick to choose where you want to swing. In this case, guessing the type of pitch isn't as important as swinging in the right place because if you aren't in the correct zone, you will end in a strikeout.
