Is Deathloop coming to PlayStation Now?
Spearheaded by the efforts of developer Arkane Lyon—the award-winning studio behind Dishonored—and publisher Bethesda Softworks, Deathloop is a single-player, next-gen exclusive first-person shooter. Here's the breakdown of whether or not Deathloop will be coming to PlayStation Now.
Is Deathloop Coming to PlayStation Now?
Although Deathloop will be releasing on PlayStation 5, it does not appear that there are any plans for the next-gen FPS to be offered on PlayStation Now.
After seeing its release date delayed from Holiday 2020 to May 2021, Deathloop is finally all set to release this fall. Deathloop will launch exclusively on PlayStation 5 and Windows PCs (via Steam) on Sept. 14, 2021. Those who preorder any edition of the game from Best Buy will also receive an exclusive physical Deathloop SteelBook.
Deathloop took center stage in PlayStation's State of Play event Thursday with its 9-minute gameplay walkthrough trailer.
In Deathloop, two rival assassins are trapped in a mysterious timeloop on the island of Blackreef, doomed to repeat the same day for eternity. As Colt, the only chance for escape is to end the cycle by assassinating eight key targets before the day resets. Learn from each cycle—try new paths, gather intel, and find new weapons and abilities. Do whatever it takes to break the loop.- Arkane Studios
Like Dishonored, players taking control of the lead assassin, Colt, will have plenty of superpowers and weapons to choose from as they decide how to wreck absolute havoc on their AI foes.
What makes Deathloop stand out, however, is that every new loop is an opportunity for players to change things up, discover new secrets and gather intel on the island of Blackreef.
