With so many changes in League of Legends Preseason 2021, spotlights went to some of the most overpowered items in-game such as Sunfire Aegis and Immortal Shieldbow. Some items only recently got buffed. Most players may focus too much on the primary statistics, forgetting what unique passive each item offers.

Here are five of underrated items in League of Legends Preseason 2021.

League of Legends Preseason 2021: 5 Underrated Items

1. Galeforce

Galeforce has been the worst Mythic item for AD carries in the preseason, especially when compared to Immortal Shieldbow and Kraken Slayer. Patch 10.25 fixed that. Galeforce's attack damage is now 60. More importantly, its cooldown is reduced from 90 seconds to only 60. Its passive, Cloudburst, enables ADCs to dash to a target location with a range of 450 (200 minimum).

2. Serpent's Fang

This situational item is rare on the Rift. The item is meant to counter shielded enemy champions. Not only that, its passive gives +18 Lethality (11.2-18 armor penetration based on level). It also deals 50 (+40% bonus AD) bonus physical damage against shields on top of its +70 Attack Damage.

3. Serylda's Grudge

Serylda's Grudge is not necessarily underrated. It's more because it is a late-game item. Aside of additional +45 Attack Damage, +30% Armor Penetration, and +20 Ability Haste, it allows champion damaging abilities to slow affected enemies by 30% for 1 second. Serylda's Grudge is the perfect final item for champions like Ezreal, Kha'Zix and Zed.

4. Chemtech Putrifier

Since Chemtech Putrifier's passive is inflicting enemies with Grievous Wounds, players are more familiar with the item Morellonomicon. Even though Morellonomicon gives more AP and Health, Chemtech Putrifier gives +15 Ability Haste and +100% base mana regeneration.

5. Lord Dominik's Regards

Posing as one of the last items to build, Lord Dominik's Regards is not guaranteed to always make an appearance in game. Along with other AD items, it got a small buff in Patch 10.25 with +35 Attack Damage, +25% Armor Penetration, and +20% Critical Strike Chance. Its passive, Giant Slayer, deals 0-15% (based on health difference) bonus physical damage.
