Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 1 Countdown

The Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 1 countdown is officially on as fans await the first major update of MW3.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: Warzone are in for some big changes in just a couple days. Sledgehammer Games is adding two fresh maps to the multiplayer rotation, designed specifically for MW3 unlike the 16 remastered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) maps. Additionally, Urzikstan is finally launching in Warzone, replacing the unpopular Al Mazrah Battle Royale map.

Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 1 Countdown

The Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 1 countdown is ticking down the days until the update drops on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023. Fans will finally be able to progress beyond Level 55 as they continue to grind multiplayer.

At the time of writing, fans only have to wait two more days until they can explore Meat, Greece, and Urzikstan. There are also three new Battle Pass weapons coming in Season 1, along with the return of Gunfight and All or Nothing.

What Time Does Urzikstan Come Out?

Urzikstan comes out at 12 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023, alongside Warzone Season 1. Players will likely be able to pre-load the large update a few hours before to ensure they can jump straight into the action.

Urzikstan consists of 11 POIs, horizontal ziplines, and a new Gulag. In fact, a few lucky (or unlucky) players will be forced to navigate a special Night Vision Gulag.

Here's All the Urzikstan Modes at Launch in Warzone Season 1

To celebrate the release of the highly anticipated map, Activision is offering the following modes on Urzikstan for the first 48 hours:

• Battle Royale
• Resurgence
• Plunder

Unlike Al Mazrah's Massive Resurgence, Urzikstan Resurgence will be limited to the following POIs:

• Orlov Military Base
• Popov Power
• Zaravan Suburbs

Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads for Battle Royale on Urzikstan will be available throughout Warzone Season 1.
