The Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1 Reloaded patch notes revealed all the new updates hitting the Battle Royal next week, including the new Champion's Quest.
Although Warzone Ranked Play is not coming until next season, Warzone Season 1 Reloaded is still bringing major gameplay changes. From a much easier Champion's Quest to a new way to exit matches early, Warzone's midseason update is shaking up the Battle Royale, and some fans are not happy. Fortunately, everyone can get behind the new weapon changes on their way, including a nerf to the MTZ Interceptor.

MW3 Warzone Season 1 Reloaded Patch Notes
Here's everything coming in MW3 Warzone Season 1 Reloaded, per Activision's patch notes.
The Champion's Quest is finally coming to Urzikstan, but with a twist.
"The first step? Win 30 games total within a season OR five consecutive matches. Complete that and the next steps will fall into place. Only the most elite squads need apply."
Those who successfully complete the Champion's Quest will receive the new Nuke skin.
Gulag Public Event
The Gulag Public Event features the Night Vision Gulag that went viral during Call of Duty: NEXT.
"In this new Gulag Public Event, the lights in the Gulag will go out, setting up an epic night-vision skirmish that will put your fighting abilities to the test. Secure the win to return to the match and leave your opponent in the dark."
New Weapon Cases
In Warzone matches, a single Weapon Case will spawn at the start of every match that contains exclusive prizes for those who manage to secure and hold it for the entire match.
"Once found, the player holding the Weapon Case is marked for all enemies in the match. If a player holding the case manages to stay alive at the end of the match OR their squad exits the match using a helicopter called in by purchasing a Covert Exfil, they and their teammates earn exclusive rewards."
The introduction of Covert Exfil allows players to leave a match early...for a price.
"With only five exfils available to purchase per match — for a high price — in Buy Stations before the Gulag closes, a Covert Exfil calls in a helicopter that can fly any player out of the match, ideally with the Weapon Case in their possession. Players can also compete to earn the most successful Covert Exfils with the new Covert Exfil leaderboard stat."
Weapon Buffs and Nerfs
The full weapon buffs and nerfs will not go live until Jan. 17 when Season 1 Reloaded drops. We do know already, though, that the MTZ Interceptor is receiving a nerf, likely along with the Pulemyot 762 LMG.
