Pokémon GO Field Research Tasks: November 2022

Each month there are several Field Research Tasks players can complete in Pokémon GO. Completing enough will score them the chance to capture the Research Breakthrough Pokémon so it is worth the effort. Here is a list of the new Field Research Tasks that Pokémon GO can attempt during this November.

Catching Tasks

  • Catch Five Pokémon - Growlithe, Joltik, or Ledyba
  • Catch Three Grass-type Pokémon - Weepinbell
  • Use Five Pinap Berries to help catch Pokémon - Combee or Kakuna
  • Catch Seven Pokémon - Magikarp
  • Catch Five Pokémon with Weather Boost - Hippopotas, Poliwag, Snover or Vulpix
  • Catch a Dragon-type Pokémon - Bagon or Dratini
  • Catch Ten Grass-type Pokémon - Ten Venusaur Mega Energy
  • Catch Ten Fire-type Pokémon - Ten Charizard Mega Energy
  • Catch Ten Normal-type Pokémon - Ten Pidgeot Mega Energy
  • Catch Ten Water-type Pokémon - Ten Blastoise Mega Energy

Buddy Tasks

  • Earn Two Candies by walking with your buddy - Bunnelby or Dedenne
  • Earn Three Candies by walking with your buddy - Stunfisk
  • Earn Five Candies by walking with your buddy - Goldeen

Poké Ball Throwing Tasks

  • Make Five Nice throws - Dunsparce
  • Make Three Great throws - Anorith, Lileep, or Snubbull
  • Make Five Great throws - Corphish
  • Make Three Great throws in a row - Onix
  • Make Five Great Curveball throws in a row - Spinda
  • Make Three Excellent throws in a row - Gible

Egg Tasks

  • Hatch an Egg - Mantine or Octillery
  • Hatch Two Eggs - Beldum

Battle Tasks

  • Battle in Go Battle League - Alolan Vulpix
  • Beat Two Team Go Rocket Grunts - Hisuian Voltorb

Raid Tasks

  • Win Five Raids - Aerodactyl
  • Win a Level Three or higher Raid - Kabuto or Omanyte

Other Field Research Tasks

  • Evolve one Pokémon - Eveee
  • Take a snapshot of a wild Pokémon - Hoppip, Murkrow or Yanma
  • Take Five snapshots of wild Pokémon - Trapinch
  • Power up a Pokémon Three times - Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle
  • Power up a Pokémon Five times - Chikorita, Cyndaquil, or Totodile
  • Power up a Pokémon Seven times - Mudkip, Torchic, or Treecko
  • Power up a Pokémon Ten times - 25 Ampharos Mega Energy
  • Spin Three Gyms or Pokéstops - Sudowoodo
  • Spin Five Gyms or Pokéstops - Ralts

Completing seven of these Research Field Tasks will give players the opportunity to catch the Breakthrough Pokémon Starmie and a Star Piece.
