Warzone Pacific SMG Rifle Tier List: March 2022
We have our updated tier list of the best SMGs in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific for March 2022. Compared to the rest of the weapon classes in Warzone Pacific, there aren’t as many viable options when picking from Vanguard SMGs, but with recent updates and the arrival of Warzone Pacific Season 2, there has been a shift compared to February.
Here's our tier list for SMGs in CoD: Warzone Pacific for March 2022.
CoD: Warzone Pacific SMG Tier List February 2022
In S Tier is four SMGs that have established themselves as ahead of the rest of the pack. The PPSh-41 became the best gun in the game for some time after an accidental buff made it's time to kill even faster, making it the most overpowered weapon, however, it has finally been nerfed, so there is a balance to Caldera once again. Still, it is one of the preferred SMGs out there.
Additionally, the MP-40 became the most popular gun in Warzone Pacific Season 1, and is still a top choice. Meanwhile, the OTs 9 still translates to high K/D ratios for those using it despite the loss of popularity. Lastly, a new loadout has brought back the Mac-10 as one of the top SMGs available.
In A Tier are six SMGs that are quite good up close, but are just a shy bit less godly than our S-Tier options. The M1912 "Tommy Gun," Type 100, and Sten joined a lot of the former S Tier SMGs in January, including the Black Ops MP5 which unfortunately received hefty nerfs from Raven, and the Owen, which we've decided to swap places with the Mac-10, even though it's still a great choice.
- Milano 821
- MP5 (MW)
- AUG (MW)
In the B Tier are a handful of SMGs that remain solid but still need a slight buff in order for more players to seriously consider using them. These options have a proven track record of being decent now and in the past, however in Caldera, they aren't the most special, and you won't see too many loadouts with any of these weapons, not even the past glorious MP5.
- PP19 Bizon
- Nail Gun
In C Tier are six options that are simply mediocre and definitely need a buff in Warzone. Apart from the Nail gun, these weapons have remained outdated, being used primarily in the Modern Warfare days. You can try them out, but you won't get too far without major buffs from developers. The Fennec can be fun, but as arguably the worst of the B Tier in January, we decided to knock it down to the tip of C Tier last month, and here it remains.
- KSP 45
- Striker 45
Lastly, in D Tier are two SMGs that have been behind in the pack far too long. Don't bother using them as they still need major buffs in order to be viable. This tier will likely remain the same for the remainder of Season 2, even after the upcoming Reloaded update.
