The main WSOW competitions will consist of Trios and each region will feature three stages:

  3. WSOW Finals

WSOW In-Game Open

The WSOW In-Game Open took place from Aug. 12 to Aug. 15 and saw players who registered their teams on GameBattles earn WSOW points for advancement in the public WSOW BR Trios playlist.

The Top 40 Trios that moved on to the WSOW North America and WSOW EU Qualifiers, respectively, can be found listed here.

WSOW Qualifiers

The Top 40 Trios from the In-Game Open in each region, who also met all eligibility requirements, will advance to the WSOW Qualifiers.

Each regional Qualifier will consist of a 5-match series in a custom lobby using WSOW scoring, with the top 20 Trios in each region’s Qualifier advancing to their region’s WSOW Finals.

The WSOW Qualifiers will both be streamed live at twitch.tv/CallofDuty, with the Europe Qualifier taking place on Saturday, Aug. 20, at 12 p.m. ET, and the North America Qualifier happening on Sunday, Aug. 21, at 3 p.m. ET.

WSOW Finals

Finally, the top 20 Trios from the Qualifiers in each region will meet 20 invited Trios from their respective region in the WSOW Finals events.

The invited trios are said to be players invited by Activision to participate, including representatives from Call of Duty League teams. The invited players themselves have yet to officially revealed by Activision outside of just one trio: DiazBiffle, Repullze and SuperEvan.

Each region’s Finals will consist of a 5-match series in a custom lobby using WSOW scoring for $200,000 in prizing.
