5 Worst Mid Laners in League of Legends Patch 10.18
By Joe Melillo

The worst mid laners in League of Legends Patch 10.18 takes a look at which champions are simply not worth locking in. Mid lane is still and incredibly powerful role and quite often determines the outcome of games. AD picks such as Zed, Yone, and Talon still dominate the mid lane while a lot of mages are on the weaker side of the meta. Lets take a look at which champions are not worth investing your time into in Patch 10.18!
Samira is a gifted, ruthless marksman who charges up her style meter as she hunts for the flashiest kill. Because it’s not about the win—it’s about the thrill.

5 Worst Mid Laners in League of Legends Patch 10.18
Azir
Many League of Legends veterans will tell you that Azir is one of the game's hardest champions to master. In the past, this difficulty was combined with absurd carry potential and a ridiculous late game. Now, Azir gets outpaced by several other champions and remains difficult to play. Instead, try Orianna, Ahri, and Cassiopeia for AP damage.
Syndra
A few patches ago, Syndra was a dominant mid lane pick. She dealt tons of damage and could easily one shot enemy carries. After she was too powerful in pro play, Riot hit her with a series of nerfs that finally took her out of the meta. Syndra is simply out-shined by other mages at the moment and should be avoided in draft.
Kayle
While Kayle remains a solid top lane pick, the current mid lane meta is not favorable to her. Kayle relies on being able to survive the early game, and then ride her level 11 power spike to the victory screen. Champions like Zed, Talon, and Yone have no trouble killing Kayle early and the lane can get out of hand fairly quickly. For this reason, its best that Kayle stay in the top lane.

Brand
Brand can dish out some serious damage, but much like Katle, the meta is terrible for him at the moment. Brand is super immobile and really struggles against assassins, which the mid lane is full of. Brand is best played as a support, where his opposition will have less tools to get in his face and stifle his ability to deal damage.
Corki
Corki is an interesting pick, as he can play both AD and AP. His kit feels a bit outdated and it might be time for him to receive a rework. While some pro players have found success with Corki, its not recommended that the average League of Legends player try and replicate their strategy. Play an assassin or mage for the best results in the mid lane.
