The latest livestream from HoYoverse revealed the Genshin Impact 5.8 content and banners on top of delivering the latest teaser for Nod-Krai, the region we’ll visit in Version 6.0.

“Through the Silent Frostbound Night” is giving us a look at the Frostmoon Scions, a faction that has been living in Nod-Krai for a long time — so long that they remember a time in which Teyvat still had moons. They’ve been mentioned in an earlier Nod-Krai teaser narrated by Alice.

We meet a woman with elf-like ears, who wears priestly garb and seems to be living in a ruined temple. She can apparently communicate with animals, using a deer as a messenger while she prays. Alarmed by the news the animal brings back, the woman hurries from her sanctuary and seeks out people dressed in similar robes.

Interestingly, she can transform into a centaur-like being to travel through the land quickly — a hint at a unique travel mechanic we’ll see in Nod-Krai? Not much is said in the teaser. We get a look at some animals and landscapes. But the description of the video contains the name of the elf-eared priest: Lauma. Fans of Wuthering Waves will know the name of her VA very well, since Alexandra Guelff voices Cantarella in Kuro Games’ open-world RPG.

Genshin Impact art exhibition in Paris announced

More Nod-Krai secrets will be uncovered between September 13 and 21, 2025, at Let Halles in Paris, where a Genshin Impact exhibition will be opening its doors. On a space of over 1,000m² visitors can check out original artwork from all six released regions plus Nod-Krai. There will be original design drafts for the Archons and other important characters, such as Liyue’s Yakshas, as well. Tickets for the expo cost €20 EUR and can be ordered from the official website starting later today.
