Microsoft and Blizzard Entertainment have announced that they’ll both join Gamescom 2025 in Cologne, Germany. The exhibition is set to run from August 20 to 24.

Microsoft has not yet confirmed any details about the line-up of games or hardware it will bring to the showfloor, but Blizzard is going to have lots of World of Warcraft in tow, including details on the upcoming second expansion of the ongoing Worldsoul arc, which is titled Midnight.

“Join us for five days of non-stop community celebration. Get ready for a Mythic Dungeon and Arena Showcase, Cosplay Showcase, Developer and Creator Meet and Greets, and much more,” Blizzard wrote. “During the show you’ll get exclusive news and updates on the next chapter of the World of Warcraft: Worldsoul Saga – Midnight – directly from the development team, along with a few additional surprises we have in store.”

The latest Xbox Games Showcase is probably a good indicator for what fans might see from Microsoft in Cologne, though.

Microsoft joins an already stacked line-up of companies attending the convention, including Nintendo, Ubisoft, Capcom, and Wargaming.
