Dataminers believe they might have found a new map coming in Apex Legends Season 18.

More and more intel about Apex Legends Season 18 is being revealed as the update approaches. The developers confirmed Ranked system changes to once again restore the competitive integrity of the Battle Royale, as well as Revenant Reborn. With all new abilities, the Legend feels like a new addition to the game even though he is a rework of Revenant.

Leaks also suggest that Storm Point could receive new POIs on the southeast portion of the map due to inclement weather. There have not been many other map updates ahead of the new season, but a change coming to the Kings Canyon Shadow Royale map might be on the horizon.

Apex Legends dataminer, KralRindo, revealed a new map skybox in the game files for Season 18. The codename "mp_rr_canyonlands_mu2_night" could be referencing a previous version of Kings Canyon. He concluded, "seems like we are getting a new update for Shadow Royale Kings Canyon."

The skybox is said to include different planets and a lot of stars, which would work perfectly for the dark conditions necessary to play Shadow Royale LTM on Kings Canyon. The seasonal mode usually drops around October to as part of Apex Legend's Fight or Fright event.

Apex Legends Season 18 will likely run until past Halloween, so Shadow Royale LTM could very well make its return to Kings Canyon with a new look.
