Looking for the best controller settings for Call of Duty: Warzone? We've got you covered.

As with any game, having optimal input settings is simply necessary to be able to not only perform well, but simply play the game at all. And while these options do come down to player preference, there are certain settings that tend to be run unanimously by the seasoned players in the scene.

Whether you're on console or PC, here are the best settings to run on a controller in Call of Duty: Warzone.

Best Controller Settings for Warzone: Preferred Button and Stick Layouts

First, it's worth mentioning that controller preferences should be determined by what feels comfortable to the players. Additionally, products like Scuf Gaming controllers will modify that as well. The console also plays a small part in it.

For example, most PlayStation players will end up using Flipped because of the ergonomic benefits of using the L1 and R1 buttons to aim and shoot. However, Xbox players likely won't do that because of how natural it feels to use LT and RT.

In general, Xbox players will also opt for the Tactical stick layout changing the crouch button from Circle/B to clicking in R3/RS. Tactical lets players drop-shot more efficiently without taking their thumbs off of the stick.

Lastly, Tactical Flipped is arguably the most commonly used stick layout for PlayStation controller players, but again let your play figure out what works best for you. Don't expect to switch button or stick layouts and instantly become a better Warzone player.
