Best Games Coming Out in March 2020: 9 Titles to be Excited About

With March around the corner, the release of new games like DOOM Eternal has fans excited. Here are the best games coming out in March 2020 that you can look forward to playing.
1. Half-Life: Alyx
The latest installment in the successful Half-Life franchise looks to be just as stunning as its predecessors, if not even more so. Half-Life: Alyx is a virtual reality experience that sets you right in between the original Half-Life game and Half-Life 2. You play as Alyx as she and her father Eli attempt to fight the alien Combine occupying Earth.
The game will only be available to play in virtual reality and will incorporate significantly more involved physics into the gameplay mechanics, building off the previously famous Gravity Gun. Half-Life: Alyx will be available for players to purchase and play on Mar. 23, assuming it releases as scheduled.
2. MLB The Show 20
The next installment of the MLB The Show series looks be better than ever, with updated fielding and throwing mechanics that will make the game even more realistic. The team celebrations are hyped up even further and provide a fun baseball experience that new players and experienced veterans will enjoy.
The game will make its way to the PlayStation 4 on March 17 and features full Minor League Baseball rosters for all teams.
3. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon puts you in the place of a Pokémon as you set out to attempt to build up a rescue team to take on mysterious and changing dungeons in an effort to make the world a better place for Pokémon. As you recruit more and more Pokémon, you're also be building rescue camps to house and train your newly acquired teammates.
The game comes to the Nintendo Switch on Mar. 6.
4. DOOM Eternal
The long-awaited sequel to the DOOM reboot set to hit consoles and PC this March. Bethesda has gone above and beyond to make sure the reboot is successful. DOOM Eternal speeds up the gameplay even more than the recent reboot.
DOOM Eternal will be released on Mar. 20 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
5. Ori and the Will of the Wisps
The 2015 release of Ori and the Blind Forest stunned players and critics with an aesthetically beautiful design and engaging gameplay. The 2D puzzle-platformer will be receiving a sequel in March that looks just as exciting as the original. In Ori and the Will of the Wisps, you once again play as the guardian spirit Ori and gain new movement abilities to let you go to new parts of the map as you progress throughout the game.
The game, along with the long-awaited soundtrack, will be available for the PC and Xbox One on Mar.11.
6. Animal Crossing: New Horizons
The latest installment of the Animal Crossing series places you as the first inhabitant of a deserted island where you can carve out for yourself a virtual life filled with everyday tasks like farming and socializing with in-game characters.
The game will be released on the Nintendo Switch on Mar. 20.
7. Nioh 2
The creative bosses and well-designed environment helped make the first Nioh game a remarkable success and Nioh 2 looks to build on that formula. As players battle deadly Yokai, you'll be able to upgrade your abilities and advance through the more challenging levels.
Nioh 2 will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on March 13.
8. Bleeding Edge
Bleeding Edge has often been compared to Overwatch in terms of its gameplay and design and has so far delivered on the comparison. The game features 4-vs-4 online gameplay with a host of different fighters for players to choose from.
Players can pre-order the game now, but it won't be released on Xbox One and PC until March 24.
9. DOOM 64
DOOM 64 updates the graphics of original with all the gameplay that players absolutely loved about the original game. Players who pre-order DOOM Eternal also receive Doom 64 for free when in launches on Mar. 20.
