Our Warzone Season 3 assault rifle tier list is here to break down which of the guns are the best to use in Caldera and Rebirth Island with the launch of Raven Software's latest major update.

With the Season 3 patch, not only did we get the new Nikita AVT, but we also saw some changes made to a handful of options in the weapon class. As such, here is how the assault rifles stack up in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 3.

Warzone Pacific Season 3 Assault Rifle Rankings

S Tier

In the S Tier are 12 ARs that remain to be a part of the meta in Season 3. By virtue of the Vargo 52 and XM4 being brought back down to earth a bit by Raven, it appears the Black Ops Cold War AK-47 could be the top AR at the moment. The STG44 just received some promising buffs for a good amount of its attachments, so it could easily move even higher on this list. Meanwhile, the Automaton, CR-56 AMAX, FARA 83, EM2, AS44, Cooper Carbine, C58 and Grau 5.56 have still translated to high K/D ratios for those using them so feel free to keep rolling them out in your loadouts.

A Tier

In A Tier are a wide variety of options that are top tier viable and remain generally very balanced to use in Warzone. Essentially, these ARs are sitting right outside of the main meta, but are still able to get the job done and allow you to be competitive. The BAR, Kilo 141, M13, M4A1, Krig 6 and RAM-7 are decent options for mid-to-long range fights. For now, the all-new Nikita AVT will slot in here as it appears to be an excellent sniper support option. The Volkssturmgewehr, GRAV, FFAR 1 and QBZ-83 would be more popular sniper support options if it weren't for the S-Tier options above.

B Tier

These weapons in B Tier remain viable, but could still use a slight buff in order for more players to seriously consider using them. Ultimately, some of these are fairly popular still, but just aren't as statistically sound compared to the guns above.

C Tier

  • Groza
  • FN Scar 17
  • AN-94
  • AK-47 (MW)
  • FR 5.56

Whether it's as a long range or sniper support option, these C Tier rifles are not close to having a place in the meta and definitely need a buff in Warzone.
