Will Ranks Reset in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3?
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 will have a major impact on players' ranks in Fortnite Ranked.
Epic Games dropped Fortnite Ranked as a late-edition surprise to Chapter 4 Season 2. The competitive mode replaced Arena and gives players the chance to progress through ranks, ranging from Bronze to Unreal, in both Zero Build and Battle Royale.
Ranked Season Zero is still in a quasi-Beta phase as Epic Games continues to make adjustments based on community feedback. Along with promising more modes in the future, they also released important details regarding ranks as Fortnite WILDS launches.

Will Ranks Reset in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3?
In a recent blog, Epic Games confirmed that ranks will reset in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3. Although the reset will not come with the initial release of Fortnite WILDS, players can expect the change sometime during Ranked Season Zero.
As of now, the target for the reset is v25.10, but Epic Games promised more details as the update approaches. The reset will not impact any Ranked Urgent Quest progress or rewards.
Reaching Unreal will also become more difficult after the reset. The threshold needed to rank up in Elite and Champion will be increased, making the climb to the highest rank less common and more rewarding.
