All HSR 3.4 buffs for Kafka, Blade, Silver Wolf, and Jingliu and how to get them

Here’s how HoYoverse is improving old fan favorites.
HoYoverse

Buffs are coming to Kafka, Blade, Silver Wolf, and Jingliu in HSR 3.4, which is one of the highlights of the HoYoverse game's latest patch.

Kafka’s role is being redefined a bit thanks to several kit changes, cementing her as a Sub DPS on DoT teams instead of being their main source of damage. Silver Wolf remains in her role as debuffer, but gets several improvements to her ability to actually execute it.

Blade and Jingliu received somewhat similar overhauls, restructuring their kits to scale with Max HP instead of ATK, which should make it easier to build strong teams around them.

Find the all HSR 3.4 buffs for Kafka, Blade, Silver Wolf, and Jingliu below and learn how to toggle them on and off.

All Kafka buffs in HSR 3.4

Kafka’s role has previously been somewhere between a Main DPS and Sub DPS on teams focused on dealing DoT DMG, but her buffs cement her as a Sub DPS, making her kit more support-oriented with teamwide ATK buffs and better debuff infliction.

  • Skill: Caressing Moonlight – Kafka’s Skill not only triggers existing DoTs on the primary target to cause damage immediately, but will also trigger DoTs on the adjacent targets.
  • Ultimate: Twilight Trill – DoTs triggered by Kafka’s Ultimate deal more damage than before.
  • Talent: Gentle but Cruel – Kafka’s Follow-Up Attack can now be triggered by any allied attacks on enemy targets, not only Basic Attacks (Kafka will attack the primary target, should her ally use an AoE attack); she can also use her Follow-Up Attack up to two times per turn, with one charge being recovered at the end of her turn.
  • Trace: Torture – Instead of having Kafka’s Ultimate trigger DoTs on enemies, this Trace increases the ATK of all allies on her team surpassing a certain Effect Hit Rate.
  • Trace: Thorns – Instead of increasing Kafka’s chances to inflict Shocked with her moves, this Trace causes her Ultimate to restore a charge to her Follow-Up Attack and enables her Follow-Up Attack to trigger DoTs on their targets.
  • Eidolon 1: Da Capo – Instead of only Kafka’s Follow-Up Attacks inflicting a debuff that increases the DoT DMG taken by enemies, all of her attacks can now do so.
  • Eidolon 2: Fortississimo – Increases the DoT DMG buff Kafka provides to her team.

All Blade buffs in HSR 3.4

Blade’s playstyle isn’t changing drastically with his buffs, but his kit has been changed to scale only with Max HP now instead of a strange mixture between Max HP and ATK. This allows him to take advantage of HP-focused Support characters and equipment much more efficiently.

  • Basic Attack: Shard Sword – Now scales with Max HP instead of ATK.
  • Enhanced Basic Attack: Forest of Swords – Now scales with Max HP instead of ATK and Max HP.
  • Skill: Hellscape – Blade’s Skill now increases his chance of being attacked by enemies.
  • Ultimate: Death Sentence – Now scales with Max HP and HP loss instead of Max HP, HP loss, and ATK.
  • Talent: Shuhu’s Gift – Now scales with Max HP instead of ATK.
  • Trace: Cycle of Destruction – Additionally restores Energy to Blade after he uses his Follow-up Attack.
  • Trace: Vita Infinita – This Trace now sets Blade’s cumulative HP loss to 50% after he uses his Ultimate.
  • Trace: Neverending Deaths – This Trace now increases the healing he receives and converts some of the healing to his Ultimate’s HP loss tally.
  • Eidolon 1: Blade Cuts the Deepest in Hell – This Eidolon now affects Blade’s Enhanced Basic Attack in addition to his Ultimate and is based on his Ultimate HP loss tally.

All Silver Wolf buffs in HSR 3.4

Though still useful, Silver Wolf has been overshadowed by several other characters in her role. Her buffs allow her to make up some ground, improving her ability to inflict debuffs and giving you much more control over her Weakness Implant.

  • Skill: Allow Changes? – Silver Wolf’s Skill now has a higher chance of implanting a Weakness Type on the target and prioritizes the Weakness Type corresponding to whichever allied character is first in the team's line-up; its duration and All-Type RES reduction have been slightly increased as well.
  • Ultimate: User Banned – The Ultimate now hits all enemies instead of a single target and has a higher base chance of reducing their DEF.
  • Talent: Awaiting System Response… – Silver Wolf now has a higher base chance of inflicting Bugs with her attacks and the DEF reduction Bug has been made stronger; furthermore, Silver Wolf now moves her Weakness Implant to another target if the initial target has been defeated, prioritizing elite enemies.
  • Trace: Generate – This Trace now has a higher base chance to inflict a Bug on enemies upon Weakness Break.
  • Trace: Inject – Instead of increasing the duration of her Weakness Implant, this Trace allows Silver Wolf to regenerate Energy at the start of battle as well as her turns.
  • Trace: Side Note – Instead of further reducing enemy All-Type RES, this Trace now increases Silver Wolf’s ATK based on her Effect Hit Rate.
  • Eidolon 2: Zombie Network – Instead of reducing enemy Effect RES, this Eidolon allows Silver Wolf to inflict a debuff causing foes to take additional damage and gives her a chance to inflict a Bug whenever an ally attacks an enemy.
  • Eidolon 4: Bounce Attack – Instead of enabling the Ultimate to deal Additional DMG to debuffed enemies five times in total, this Eidolon allows Silver Wolf’s Ultimate to inflict Additional DMG up to five times against each target.

All Jingliu buffs in HSR 3.4

Jingliu’s buffs follow the same line of logic as Blade’s — she’s now fully HP-focused and can fit into HP-centric teams as a Main DPS or Sub DPS, benefiting much more from such comps.

  • Basic Attack: Lucent Moonglow – Now scales with Max HP instead of ATK.
  • Skill: Transcendent Flash – Now scales with Max HP instead of ATK.
  • Enhanced Skill: Moon on Glacial River – Now scales with Max HP instead of ATK.
  • Ultimate: Florephemeral Dreamflux – Now scales with Max HP instead of ATK.
  • Technique: Shine of Truth – Now scales with Max HP instead of ATK.
  • Talent: Crescent Transmigration – Slightly increases the amount of HP Jingliu consumes from allies when using Moon on Glacial River and allows her to get up to five stacks of a CRIT DMG buff from allies losing HP instead of converting consumed HP to ATK; also gains an additional stack of Syzygy when entering Spectral Transmigration and after allies receive DMG or consume HP a total of 20 times; also increases the maximum Syzygy capacity to four.
  • Trace: Frost Wraith – This Trace now allows Jingliu’s next attack to partially ignore enemy DEF whenever she obtains Syzygy while she’s at the maximum capacity..
  • Trace: Sword Champion – This Trace now restores Energy to Jingliu after she uses her Skill and Enhanced Skill.
  • Trace: Deathrealm – This Trace now increases Jingliu’s Ultimate DMG in addition to her Effect RES while she’s in the Spectral Transmigration state.
  • Eidolon 1: Moon Crashes Tianguang Gate – This Eidolon’s CRIT DMG buff for Jingliu’s Enhanced Skill and Ultimate is increased and the additional Ice DMG now scales with Max HP instead of ATK.
  • Eidolon 4: Lunarlance Shines Skyward Dome – This Eidolon now increases the CRIT DMG boost from Jingliu’s Talent.
  • Eidolon 6: Eclipse Hollows Corporeal Husk – This Eidolon now restores two stacks of Syzygy and increases Jingliu’s Ice RES PEN instead of CRIT DMG when she’s in the Spectral Transmigration state.
