EA reverts Battlefield 6 Conquest ticket reduction
By Marco Wutz

Ah, the woes and joys of listening to players. After EA reduced the number of Conquest tickets to facilitate more organic and timely endings to matches in this game mode, the company went ahead and reverted the change today across all maps. This means that Conquest matches are back to 1,000 tickets per team and a maximum time limit of 45 minutes.
Confusion around the quick u-turn aside, the situation shows the disadvantage of the speed at which the developers have been implementing fan feedback: Their eagerness to please opens the door to scenarios in which the developers listen to a loud minority, make changes, and then discover that things were actually fine for a large majority of the playerbase.
“We've heard your feedback about the recent reduction of Conquest starting tickets and will be reverting the ticket count across all maps to their original launch value of 1,000 and 45 minute timed rounds,” EA stated. “Please note that on larger maps such as Mirak Valley and Firestorm this change may lead to longer match durations. We'll continue monitoring player feedback and gameplay data to ensure the pacing and overall flow of matches feel right.”
Gathering over seven million players in just three days is bound to attract a diverse audience, so one should expect differing opinions among the community on other issues as well.
Battlefield 6 progression speed is set to be increased in a coming update and the Season 1 launch is not far off either.
