We've compiled a comprehensive breakdown of all the existing weapons that have received nerfs in the Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 1 patch.

The next era is finally set to arrive this week not only with Caldera taking over as the new flagship map for Call of Duty's battle royale, but also with Vanguard integration unleashing its extensive catalog of WWII weapons for players to use in their custom loadouts. For those curious about how their Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War weapons will hold up in Caldera, here are all the latest weapon nerfs in Warzone Pacific Season 1.

All Weapon Nerfs in Warzone Pacific Season 1

Melee

Ballistic Knife (BOCW)

  • Melee damage decreased to 90, down from 135

Battle Axe (BOCW)

  • Damage decreased to 135, down from 175

Cane (BOCW)

  • Damage decreased to 135, down from 150

Kali Sticks (MW) (Note: These changes also affect MW Multiplayer)

  • Damage decreased to 65, down from 90
  • Lunge Distance decreased by 7.7%
  • Melee Finisher now requires 4 hits, up from 2

Mace (BOCW)

  • Damage decreased to 135, down from 150

Sai (BOCW)

  • Damage decreased to 70, down from 135
  • Lunge Distance decreased 7.7%
  • Melee Finisher now requires 4 hits, up from 2

At the time of writing, Activision and Raven Software have released their Season One Patch Notes for Warzone Pacific, but mentioned that a subsequent balance update will be released shortly after launch that will include "considerable changes across weapons from all three Chapters (MW/BOCW/VG)."

As such, we'll update this story as soon as the balance update is released.

UPDATE 12/10/21: Raven has released their Dec. 9 Warzone update. Numerous changes have been made to Vanguard (VG) weapons and attachments. Names, descriptions, pros, cons and stat bars have been updated in-game to reflect these changes. In addition, the following Modern Warfare (MW) and Black Ops Cold War (BOCW) Weapon adjustments have been made:

Assault Rifle

AK-47 (BOCW)

  • Initial Recoil Deviation increased

EM2 (BOCW)

  • Neck Damage Multiplier decreased to 1.1, down from 1.2
  • Recoil Magnitude increased
  • Recoil Deviation increased

Marksman Rifle

Kar98k (MW)

  • Flinch Resistance decreased by 62%

Melee

Baseball Bat (BOCW)

  • Lunge Distance decreased by 47%

Battle Axe (BOCW)

  • Lunge Distance decreased by 38%

Cane (BOCW)

  • Lunge Distance decreased by 46%

Mace (BOCW)

  • Lunge Distance decreased by 42%

Shotgun

Gallo SA12 (BOCW)

  • Movement Speed decreased by 1.2%
  • ADS Movement Speed decreased by 8.6%

Sniper Rifle

Swiss K31 (BOCW)

  • Flinch Resistance decreased by 62%

Submachine Gun

OTs 9 (BOCW)

  • Maximum Damage decreased to 30, down from 31
  • Headshot Damage Multiplier decreased to 1.33, down from 1.52

MP5 (BOCW)

  • Maximum Damage decreased to 20, down from 31
  • Headshot Damage Multiplier decreased to 1.41, down from 1.45

AK-74u (BOCW) (Note: These changes only affect Warzone.)

  • Fire Rate decreased to .08, down from .075
  • Sprint to Fire Speed decreased by 2.6%

An imminent update will further address Bloom and include adjustments to weapons including the PPSh-41 (VG).
