Our Warzone Pacific Season 1 assault rifle tier list is here to break down which of the guns are the best to use in Caldera with the launch of Raven Software's latest major update.

With there being over 40 new weapons for Warzone players to use thanks to the Call of Duty: Vanguard integration, as well as Raven's latest weapon balance pass going through, it's no question that the meta has been flipped on its head once again. As such, here are the best assault rifles to use in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 1.

Warzone Pacific Season 1 Assault Rifle Tier List

S Tier

In S Tier are four ARs that have established themselves as ahead of the rest of the pack. At the top of the list is the Cooper Carbine, which has just arrived, and in true Call of Duty tradition, has already become one of the most broken guns in the game as a close-to-medium range option. Meanwhile, the Automaton, NZ-41 and EM2 have remained very popular weapons that have also translated to high K/D ratios for those using them, so feel free to max them out.

A Tier

  • STG44
  • XM4
  • AK-47 (BOCW)
  • FARA 83
  • C58
  • QBZ-83
  • BAR
  • CR-56 AMAX
  • M4A1
  • Krig 6
  • RAM-7
  • GRAV

In A Tier are a wide variety of options that are top tier viable and remain generally very balanced to use in Warzone. Essentially, these options are right outside of the main meta, but are still able to get the job done and allow you to be competitive. The STG44, one of the most popular guns in Vanguard multiplayer, has unsurprisingly been one of the more popular ARs in Caldera as well but hasn't necessarily been as good as those in S Tier.

B Tier

These weapons in B Tier remain viable, but could still use a slight buff in order for more players to seriously consider using them as shown by the AK-47 (BOCW) and XM4, which were here in previous tier lists. In here sits the Volk and AS 44, which have amazing fire rates, but are not nearly as good as the Cooper Carbine.

C Tier

  • Kilo 141
  • FN Scar 17
  • FAL
  • AN-94

The C Tier includes rifles that definitely need a buff in Warzone. An unfortunate, but telling sign of the times is that even in the new Warzone Pacific era, all of these guns, as well as the ones below it, are pretty much all from Modern Warfare.

D Tier

At this point in the tier list, these ARs are not close to having a place in the meta. For the latter three D-Tier assault rifles, they have long been weak in a lot of departments and remain irrelevant in the meta. For now, it still makes sense to place the Itra Burst here, as it is right there with the FR 5.56 as the two least popular ARs in the game, according to WZ Ranked.
