Raven Software has released their latest update for Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific in Season Two, nerfing both the XM4 and Bren, making key adjustments to the Vanguard Royale LTM, and fixing a host of bugs.

Here's a breakdown of the March 2 patch notes for Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 2.

XM4 and Bren Nerfed, Vanguard Royale Health Increased in March 2 Warzone Update

Here are the official changes Raven have now made to the two meta weapons:

XM4

  • Neck Damage Multiplier decreased to 1.33, down from 1.5

Bren

  • Fixed an issue causing the Light Machine Gun Charlie (VG) Queen's 705mm Royal Barrel to bypass its intended Damage Falloff

Ultimately, this is a bit of buzzkill for those who use the XM4, but it's not that bad as it just makes it so that you have to be more precise to get those faster TTKs.

For the Bren, however, this is a major fix. As explained by JGOD, the Bren's TTKs had been broken at all ranges in recent days because the damage drop-off nerf to the Queen’s 705mm Royal barrel was seemingly reverted for whatever reason, allowing players to maximize their setups around other factors that would normally have to be sacrificed like bullet velocity or movement.

Additionally, the Vanguard Royale LTM is set to see a pair of major adjustments implemented when it re-enters the Playlist rotation for all squad sizes tomorrow, March 3:

  • Core Player health will be increased to 150, up from 100
(Including Armor, Players will now have a total health pool of 300, up from 250)
  • UAV’s are now available in Buy Stations for $9,000, up from $6,000

Ultimately, Raven said that these changes were made based on feedback of the gameplay experience to date in order to deliver a more balanced, fair and engaging experience.
