Our Warzone Pacific assault rifle tier list for April 2022 is here to go over which of the guns are the best to use now that the new meta has settled down a bit once again after the launch of Season Two Reloaded.

With the Season 2 Reloaded patch, we didn't get a new assault rifle, but we did see some changes made to a couple of options in the weapon class. As such, here is how the assault rifle weapon class stacks up in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 2 Reloaded in April 2022.

Warzone Pacific April 2022 Assault Rifle Rankings

S Tier

In the S Tier are eight ARs that appear to be decently ahead of the rest of the pack. Despite being the newest weapon in the class, as well receiving minor damage nerfs in the Season 2 Reloaded update, the Vargo 52 remains perhaps the best choice to use both as a primary mid-to-long range option and a sniper support option. Four other elite sniper support options remain to be the Cooper Carbine, AS 44, Black Ops Cold War AK-47 and XM4. Meanwhile, in conjunction with the health increase, the easy-to-use Automaton, Black Ops Cold War AK-47, XM4, CR-56 AMAX and FARA 83 have still translated to high K/D ratios for those using them so feel free to keep rolling them out.

A Tier

In A Tier are a wide variety of options that are top tier viable and remain generally very balanced to use in Warzone. Essentially, these ARs are sitting right outside of the main meta, but are still able to get the job done and allow you to be competitive. The C58, EM2 and Grau 5.56 remain right behind those in S Tier, as they are still great options for those comfortable using them. The Volkssturmgewehr, STG44, QBZ-83, Kilo 141, Grau 5.56, EM2 and M13 would be more popular sniper support options if it weren't for the S-Tier options above. For those behind on leveling up the Vanguard and Black Ops Cold War guns, the M13, M4A1, Kilo 141, RAM-7, QBZ-83 and GRAV are still solid alternatives.

B Tier

These weapons in B Tier remain viable, but could still use a slight buff in order for more players to seriously consider using them. Ultimately, some of these are fairly popular still, but just aren't as statistically sound compared to the guns above.

C Tier

  • Groza
  • FN Scar 17
  • AN-94
  • AK-47 (MW)
  • FR 5.56

Whether it's as a long range or sniper support option, these C Tier rifles are not close to having a place in the meta and definitely need a buff in Warzone.
