Our Warzone Season 3 SMG tier list is here to break down which of the guns are the best to use in Caldera and Rebirth Island with the launch of Raven Software's latest major update.

With the Season 3 patch, we didn't get a new SMG, but we did see some changes made to a couple of options in the weapon class. As such, here is how the SMGs stack up in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 3.

Warzone Pacific Season 3 SMG Rankings

S Tier

In the S Tier are seven SMGs that have established themselves as decently ahead of the rest of the pack. Ultimately, while the Milano 821 remains to be an exceptional sniper support option, the nerfs to the MP-40, Type 100 and Owen Gun means that there should be more diversity among the viable SMG options out there. The LAPA, Vanguard PPSh-41 and Welgun have still translated to high K/D ratios for those using them so feel free to keep doing so.

A Tier

In A Tier are eight SMGs that are top tier viable and remain generally very balanced to use in Warzone. Essentially, these options are sitting right outside of the main meta, but are still able to get the job done and allow you to be competitive. The Armaguerra 43 received a bit of a nerf and a buff, having a bit of hit to its fire rate, but also getting some boosts to its damage and bullet velocity. Meanwhile, the Black Ops Cold War MP5, PP19 Bizon, OTs 9, Sten, Black Ops Cold War PPSh-41, MAC-10 and Bullfrog remain sleeper hits to use.

B Tier

M1912

  • M1912
  • AK-74u
  • LC10
  • MP5 (MW)
  • AUG (MW)
  • MP7
  • Uzi
  • CX-9
  • TEC-9

In the B Tier are a handful of SMGs that remain solid but could still use a slight buff in order for more players to seriously consider using them. These options have a proven track record of being decent, but will likely be nothing to write home about throughout the new Warzone Pacific era.

C Tier

  • Fennec
  • ISO
  • P90
  • Nail Gun
  • KSP 45
  • Striker 45

Whether it's as a close range or sniper support option, these C Tier SMGs have been behind in the pack for far too long and are not close to having a place in the meta.
