Our Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 LMG tier list is here to break down which of the guns are the best to use in CalderaFortune's Keep, and Rebirth Island with the launch of Raven Software's latest major update.

With the Season 4 patch, not only did we get the new UGM-8 LMG, but also a handful of major changes were made to options in the weapon class. As such, here is how the LMGs stack up in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4.

After receiving buffs to its Damage and Muzzle Velocity, the Whitley's spot at the top of the LMG rankings has been solidified even further. Its sub-par magazine offerings, however, continue to hold it back from being a more popular option.

A Tier

In A Tier are six LMGs that statically are comparable to the one above, but just aren't as well-rounded at the moment. Feel free to try any of these LMGs out to see if you can find an underrated sleeper. For now, the all-new UGM-8 will slot in here as the jury's still out in regards to just how meta this thing will be. The DP27, Type 11 and MG42 all saw some nice buffs, but that shouldn't matter much in the grand scheme of things, unfortunately.

B Tier

Bren

These five LMGs in B Tier remain viable, but could use a slight buff in order for more players to seriously consider mastering them. Included here are the two most popular LMGs in the game, the RPD and the Bren. The Bren did see a slight buff to its Muzzle Velocity, but it still won't be nearly what it once was because of the nerfs it received over the seasons.

C Tier

  • Holger-26
  • M60
  • M91
  • MG34
  • RAAL MG

Lastly, these C Tier LMGs have been behind in the pack for far too long and are not close to having a place in the meta. Being that these are LMGs, they're all likely not worth a custom loadout drop, and therefore will almost never see the light of day in most games.
