Our Apex Legends weapon tier list for October 2022 is here to break down which of the game's many firearms are the best to use in Season 14.

As the meta currently stands, there remains a wide range of weapons to dominate with in Apex Legends, as usual. However, that's not to say players haven't continued to figure out which weapons are slightly better than each other after the Beast of Prey Collection Event patch. Here is how the weapons stack up in Apex Legends: Hunted in October 2022.

Apex Legends October 2022 Weapon Rankings

S Tier

  • Kraber .50-Cal Sniper
  • Mastiff Shotgun
  • Bocek Compound Bow
  • Rampage LMG
  • Volt SMG
  • R-301 Carbine
  • EVA-8 Auto
  • Peacekeeper
  • VK-47 Flatline
  • Wingman
  • C.A.R. SMG

Kicking off the list, the Kraber .50-Cal Sniper, Mastiff Shotgun, Bocek Compound Bow and Rampage LMG all get free passes to the S Tier considering that they still make up this season's Supply Drop rotation. Meanwhile, the Volt SMG and R-301 remain to be two of the game's most popular guns considering how strong they are. Being how nasty shotguns continue to be in Apex, both the EVA-Auto and Peacekeeper are in S Tier as well, with the former being perhaps a tad bit too OP. Lastly, the ever-dependable Flatline, Wingman and C.A.R. are still core pillars of the game, as they have been for as long as most remember.

A Tier

These five weapons could easily be considered S Tier to some, but are slightly edged out by those above who do their jobs a bit better. The R-99 is still a demon at times, the HAVOC is broken if it's paired with a Turbocharger, and the G7 Scout and 30-30 are problems to deal with at range. Lastly, the Charge Rifle is perhaps the most-hated weapon in the game for good reason and allows its users to upgrade their armor with ease.

B Tier

In B Tier are weapons that fare better than average and give you that sense of feeling solid and ready to go after looting for some time. Although they can be used to finish games, there are likely better guns out there for you to rely on. The Longbow DMR is a great sniper, but is outshined by the marksman rifle offerings, as well as the Charge Rifle. Meanwhile, the Spitfire and Devotion are viable in most scenarios thanks to their mildly high damage outputs. The Prowler Burst PDW, Triple Take, Sentinel and Hemlok can be considered useful to some, but are likely not worth mastering.

C Tier

In the grand scheme of things, these five weapons aren't actually that bad. Well, except for the P2020. You can indeed win fights with them if you play your cards right. However, it's probably best to go other routes in your matches than using these after the initial drop.
