Our Warzone Pacific assault rifle tier list for February 2022 is here to break down which of the guns are the best to use now that the new meta has settled down a bit with the launch of Season Two on the horizon.

Now that we've reached a brief moment of relaxation with Raven Software fully focusing on releasing Season 2 as smoothly as possible, the battle royale's weapon meta has pretty much reached a clear state once again. Here are the best assault rifles to use in Call of Duty: Warzone in February 2022 before the launch of Season 2.

S Tier

In the S Tier are seven ARs that have established themselves as ahead of the rest of the pack. The C58 has surprisingly taken the top spot for best K/D among primary weapons, according to Warzone stats site WZ Ranked, going toe-to-toe with the Bren. Since the mid-season update, it appears players' thoughts on the STG44 have soured a bit, as its popularity isn't as crazy as it once was, albeit still remaining a great option to use. For those looking for the best sniper support option in the game, look no further than the Cooper Carbine. Meanwhile, the Automaton, Black Ops Cold War AK-47, and XM4 have still translated to high K/D ratios for those using them so feel free to keep rolling them out.

A Tier

In A Tier are a wide variety of options that are top tier viable and remain generally very balanced to use in Warzone. Essentially, these options are sitting right outside of the main meta, but are still able to get the job done and allow you to be competitive. The BAR is right behind those in S Tier, as it's a great option for those comfortable using it. The AS 44, Volk, and Itra Burst would be the best sniper support options in the game if it weren't for the Cooper Carbine. For those behind on leveling up the Vanguard and Black Ops Cold War guns, the Grau 5.56, RAM-7, CR-56 AMAX, FARA 83, QBZ-83, and GRAV are solid alternatives.

B Tier

  • FFAR 1
  • M13
  • M4A1
  • AS VAL
  • FAL
  • Kilo 141
  • Krig 6
  • Groza

These weapons in B Tier remain viable, but could still use a slight buff in order for more players to seriously consider using them. Ultimately, a lot of these are fairly popular still (e.g. Kilo 141, M13, M4A1) but aren't as good statistically compared to the guns above.

C Tier

  • Oden
  • FN Scar 17
  • AN-94
  • AK-47 (MW)
  • FR 5.56

The C Tier includes rifles that are not close to having a place in the meta and definitely need a buff in Warzone. An unfortunate, but telling sign of the times is that even in the new Warzone Pacific era, all of these guns are all from Modern Warfare.
