Our Warzone Pacific assault rifle tier list for May 2022 is here to go over which of the guns are the best to use now that the new meta has settled down a bit once again after the launch of Season 3.

Thus far in Season 3, not only did we get the new Nikita AVT, but we also saw Raven Software make some bold changes to a handful of options in the weapon class. As such, here is how the assault rifles stack up in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 3.

Warzone Pacific May 2022 Assault Rifle Rankings

S Tier

In the S Tier are eight ARs that remain to be key parts of the meta in Season 3. After nerfing the XM4 further, as well as hitting the Black Ops Cold War AK-47 pretty hard, the newly buffed STG44 appears to have a free runway to dominate the weapon meta entirely. The newly buffed Volk and AS44 have emerged as elite sniper support options right behind the XM4. Meanwhile, the Vargo 52, Automaton, Cooper Carbine and CR-56 AMAX have still translated to high K/D ratios for those using them so feel free to keep rolling them out in your loadouts.

A Tier

In A Tier are a wide variety of options that are top tier viable and remain generally very balanced to use in Warzone. Essentially, these ARs are sitting right outside of the main meta, but are still able to get the job done and allow you to be competitive. The buffed Nikita AVT slots at the top of A Tier as it appears to be an excellent sniper support option. An unfortunate fall from grace, the Black Ops Cold War AK-47 finds itself out of the S Tier for the first time in a while. The C58, QBZ-83, FARA 83, M4A1, KG M40, EM2, M13, Grau 5.56, BAR, Krig 6 and RAM-7 are decent options for mid-to-long range fights. The Groza, Grav, FFAR 1 and Kilo 141 would be more popular sniper support options if it weren't for the S-Tier options above.

B Tier

These weapons in B Tier remain viable, but could still use a slight buff in order for more players to seriously consider using them. Ultimately, some of these are fairly popular still, but just aren't as statistically sound compared to the guns above.

C Tier

  • FN Scar 17
  • AK-47 (MW)
  • FR 5.56

Whether it's as a long range or sniper support option, these C Tier rifles are not close to having a place in the meta and definitely need a buff in Warzone.
