Our Warzone Pacific Season 2 sniper rifle tier list is here to break down which of the guns are the best to use in Caldera and Rebirth Island with the launch of Raven Software's latest major update.

In addition to the introduction of armored war machines and chemical weapons, Raven's latest weapon balance pass was one of the largest in Warzone history, undoubtedly flipping the meta on its head once again. As such, here are the best sniper rifles to use in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 2.

Warzone Pacific Season 2 Sniper Rifle Tier List

S Tier

  • Kar98k (MW)
  • Swiss K31

Remaining atop the Warzone Pacific sniper rifle summit until further notice is the Modern Warfare Kar98k and the Swiss K31. After sharing the throne for a bit with the Swiss K31, the Kar98k (MW) has had a bit of an edge early on in the Warzone Pacific era thanks to it having the Focus perk, which negates the Flinch Resistance nerf seen in the Swiss K31. However, since the Swiss K31 continues to be such a strong popular option as well, it deserves to be in the S Tier too.

A Tier

In A Tier are three snipers that are right behind the Modern Warfare Kar98k and Swiss K31. All of these options are top-tier viable. While the 3-Line Rifle and Vanguard Kar98k received hefty changes with the new patch, it seems they will see a marginal improvement in actual in-game performance overall.

B Tier

In B Tier are seven options that are solid and remain generally very balanced to use. The AX-50 remains a fairly popular choice despite being one of the oldest tenured weapons in the game, while the rest remain solid options but nothing to write home about. Although the Type 99 and Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle did receive some buffs to their handling, it's going to take a lot more where that came from to have them actually become popular options in players' loadouts.

C Tier

  • M82
  • Rytec AMR
  • Dragunov

The C Tier includes guns that definitely need a buff in Warzone. As the story remains with semi-automatic snipers in Call of Duty, it's no surprise that the M82, Rytec AMR, and Dragunov all remain at the bottom of the list.
