Our Warzone Season 3 Reloaded SMG tier list is here to break down which of the guns are the best to use in Caldera and Rebirth Island after the launch of Raven Software's latest major balancing update.

With the Season 3 Reloaded patch, we saw a hefty amount of changes made to a handful of options in the weapon class. Ultimately, it appears it's as important of a time as ever to get those meta Vanguard guns unlocked and maxed out as the Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War options took some hits once again. As such, here is how the SMGs stack up in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 Reloaded.

Warzone Season 3 Reloaded SMG Rankings

S Tier

In the S Tier are nine SMGs that have established themselves as decently ahead of the rest of the pack. Ultimately, perhaps the only "broken" options at the moment would be the Type 100 (for Solos/Duos) and Armaguerra 43 (for Trios/Quads), which are statistical monsters. Now that the Milano 821 has been nerfed, the Armaguerra 43 is the best SMG sniper support option as well. The brand-new Carl Gustaf is very impressive, having a great magazine size, TTK and mobility. Once Raven hampers out the bugs, the Carl Gustaf could easily rise even further up this list. Meanwhile, the UGR, Sten, MP-40 and LAPA have still translated to high K/D ratios for those using them, so feel free to keep doing so.

A Tier

In A Tier are 12 SMGs that are top tier viable and remain generally very balanced to use in Warzone. Essentially, these options are sitting right outside of the main meta, but are still able to get the job done and allow you to be competitive. Finding itself out of the S Tier for the first time in a while, the Owen Gun will certainly drop in popularity moving forward after getting hit with even more nerfs. Unfortunately, the Modern Warfare AUG got caught in the nerf crossfire as well, which is a bit of buzzkill considering the weapon was starting to become relevant again recently.

B Tier

In the B Tier are a handful of SMGs that remain solid but could still use a slight buff in order for more players to seriously consider using them. These options have a proven track record of being decent, but will likely be nothing to write home about throughout the Warzone Pacific era.

C Tier

Whether it's as a close-range or sniper support option, these C Tier SMGs have been behind in the pack for far too long and are not close to having a place in the meta.
