Our Warzone Pacific weapon tier list for January 2022 is here to break down which of the guns are the best to use now that the new meta has settled down a bit at the turn of the new year.

Now that the early "honeymoon" phase of Warzone Pacific and Caldera has firmly passed, along with Call of Duty: Vanguard integration and Raven Software's barrage of weapon balance passes that came with it, the battle royale's meta has pretty much been established once again. As such, here are the best weapons to use in Call of Duty: Warzone in January 2022.

S Tier

At this point in the Warzone meta, these weapons are all pretty dominant in their roles, with the Bren and Double Barrel shotgun being perhaps the only ones that are "broken." The Bren, MP-40, STG44, Modern Warfare Kar98k, and Swiss K31 are the most popular weapons in each of their respective classes by a country mile. Additionally, the Kar98k (VG), C58, OTs 9, Vanguard PPSh-41, Owen Gun, EM2 continue to reflect high K/D ratios for those using them, so feel free to keep on keeping on in that regard.

In A Tier are a wide variety of options that are top tier viable and remain generally very balanced to use in Warzone. Essentially, these options are right outside of the main meta, but are still able to get the job done and allow you to be competitive. Towards the bottom of the list, there aren't too many great options, but it wouldn't be surprising to see players using them.

B Tier

  • Milano 821
  • 3-Line Rifle
  • MP5 (MW)
  • Bullfrog
  • Kilo 141
  • FFAR 1
  • M13
  • M4A1
  • Krig 6
  • DP27
  • RPD
  • AS VAL
  • Groza
  • Pelington 703
  • Type 99
  • LW3 - Tundra
  • AX-50
  • TEC-9
  • LAPA
  • MP7
  • LC10
  • CX-9
  • AK-74u
  • AUG (MW)
  • Fennec
  • AMP63
  • Sykov
  • Diamatti
  • Combat Shotgun
  • Gallo SA12
  • RAAL MG
  • FiNN LMG
  • Origin 12 Shotgun
  • Renetti
  • M1 Garand
  • DMR 14
  • Streetsweeper

These weapons in B Tier remain viable in Season 1 but could use a slight buff in order for more players to seriously consider mastering them. Overall, these weapons are just fine but don't have anything that makes them stand out as fun or exciting options to use. Ultimately, a lot of these are fairly popular still but aren't as good statistically compared to the guns above.

C Tier

R9-0 Shotgun

  • Itra Burst
  • G-43
  • Uzi
  • Type 63
  • SA87
  • PP19 Bizon
  • ISO
  • P90
  • Nail Gun
  • FN Scar 17
  • AN-94
  • FAL
  • Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle
  • VLK Rogue
  • R9-0 Shotgun
  • JAK-12
  • CARV.2
  • Klauser

The C Tier includes guns that definitely could use a buff in Warzone. While those such as the Nail Gun have become weak after receiving numerous nerfs, others such as the G-43 simply run out of ammo much too quickly to be viable.

D Tier

X16

  • AK-47 (MW)
  • Oden
  • AUG (CW)
  • FR 5.56
  • SVT-40
  • SKS
  • M82
  • Hauer 77
  • Einhorn Revolving
  • MG34
  • Holger-26
  • Rytec AMR
  • X16
  • Ratt
  • 1911 (VG)
  • 1911 (MW)
  • 1911 (CW)
  • M60
  • EBR
  • Model 680
  • Gracey Auto
  • M91
  • KSP 45
  • M16
  • Striker 45
  • 725

At this point in the tier list, these guns from here on out don't have a place in the meta at all. While the higher end of this tier could perhaps be fine for players to get a kill or two, it gets pretty dreadful by the bottom of the list.

F Tier

Dragunov

  • Magnum
  • .357
  • Mk2 Carbine
  • Crossbow (MW)
  • Crossbow (CW)
  • Dragunov
  • .50 GS

There is little to no hope for these weapons in F Tier, as well as those who happen to pick them up in game. If you're in the Gulag, do what you need to do. Otherwise, look to swap out these guns from your inventory immediately.
