Our Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 SMG tier list is here to break down which of the guns are the best to use in CalderaFortune's Keep, and Rebirth Island with the launch of Raven Software's latest major update.

With the Season 4 patch, not only did we get the new Marco 5 SMG, but also a handful of major changes were made to options in the weapon class. As such, here is how the SMGs stack up in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4.

Warzone Season 4 SMG Rankings

S Tier

In the S Tier are eight SMGs that will be elite in Season 4. Ultimately, perhaps the only "broken" option at the moment would be the H4 Blixen, which, to be fair, is said to be less effective in mid-range fights moving forward. The Armaguerra 43 has been adjusted to be a bit more consistent up close. Making its return back to the S Tier, the MAC-10 surprisingly received some nice damage buffs. The Sten could potentially become more popular in the coming days after its buffs. Meanwhile, the Welgun, Milano 821 and MP-40 have still translated to high K/D ratios for those using them, so feel free to keep doing so.

A Tier

In A Tier are 15 SMGs that are top-tier viable and remain generally very balanced to use in Warzone. Essentially, these options are sitting right outside of the main meta, but are still able to get the job done and allow you to be competitive. The Vanguard PPSh-41 did receive some buffs while the Owen Gun got nerfed once again, but it remains to be seen just how relevant those changes will be overall. For now, the all-new Marco 5 SMG will slot in here as the jury's still out in regards to just how meta this thing will be.

B Tier

In the B Tier are a handful of SMGs that remain solid but could still use a slight buff in order for more players to seriously consider using them. These options have a proven track record of being decent, but will likely be nothing to write home about throughout the Warzone Pacific era.

C Tier

Whether it's as a close-range or sniper support option, these C Tier SMGs have been behind in the pack for far too long and are not close to having a place in the meta.
