Our Warzone SMG tier list for August 2022 is here to go over which of the guns are the best to use now that the new meta has settled down a bit once again after the launch of Raven Software's latest balancing update.

Since the initial Season 4 Reloaded patch, Warzone players have seen a handful of nerfs and buffs made at a rapid pace. As such, here is how the SMGs stack up in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 Reloaded in August 2022.

August 2022 Warzone SMG Rankings

S Tier

In the S Tier are eight SMGs that should continue to be elite in Season 4 Reloaded. Ultimately, perhaps the only "broken" option at the moment would be the Marco 5. The Marco 5, Armaguerra 43 and H4 Blixen each did receive minor nerfs, but they should remain in close proximity to each other in the rankings. Meanwhile, the Type 100, Sten, MP-40, Black Ops Cold War MP5, and Welgun have still translated to high K/D ratios for those using them, so feel free to keep doing so.

A Tier

In A Tier are a whopping 15 SMGs that are still top-tier viable and remain generally very balanced to use in Warzone. Essentially, these options are sitting right outside of the main meta, but are still able to get the job done and allow you to be competitive.

B Tier

In the B Tier are a handful of SMGs that remain solid but could still use a slight buff in order for more players to seriously consider using them. These options have a proven track record of being decent, but will likely be nothing to write home about throughout the Warzone Pacific era.

C Tier

  • Nail Gun

Whether it's as a close-range or sniper support option, these C Tier SMGs have been behind in the pack for far too long and are not close to having a place in the meta.
