Our Warzone SMG tier list for July 2022 is here to go over which of the guns are the best to use now that the new meta has settled down a bit once again after the launch of Raven Software's latest balancing update.

Since the initial Season 4 patch, Warzone has seen the gap closing a bit between the absolutely overpowered options and the viable ones in the SMG class. As such, here is how the SMGs stack up in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 in July 2022.

July 2022 Warzone SMG Rankings

S Tier

In the S Tier are seven SMGs that continue to be elite in Season 4. Ultimately, perhaps the only "broken" option at the moment would be the Marco 5. The H4 Blixen did receive a minor nerf recently, but that shouldn't have much of an effect at all on its strength. Meanwhile, the Sten, Type 100, Armaguerra 43, Welgun, and MP-40 have still translated to high K/D ratios for those using them, so feel free to keep doing so.

A Tier

In A Tier are a whopping 16 SMGs that are top-tier viable and remain generally very balanced to use in Warzone. Essentially, these options are sitting right outside of the main meta, but are still able to get the job done and allow you to be competitive.

B Tier

In the B Tier are a handful of SMGs that remain solid but could still use a slight buff in order for more players to seriously consider using them. These options have a proven track record of being decent, but will likely be nothing to write home about throughout the Warzone Pacific era.

C Tier

  • Nail Gun

Whether it's as a close-range or sniper support option, these C Tier SMGs have been behind in the pack for far too long and are not close to having a place in the meta.
