Our Warzone weapon tier list for July 2022 is here to go over which of the guns are the best to use now that the new meta has settled down a bit once again after the launch of Raven Software's latest balancing update.

Since the initial Season 4 patch, Warzone has seen the gap closing a bit between the absolutely overpowered options and the viable ones across multiple weapon classes. As such, here is how the weapons stack up in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 in July 2022.

July 2022 Warzone Weapon Rankings

S Tier

These options in S Tier all make up Warzone's weapon meta moving forward. While the NZ-41, Marco 5 and H4 Blixen are the absolute best options in their respective roles, the rest listed here are certainly starting to challenge them as the game's go-to weapons. At this point, after the numerous buffs it's received in recent patches, the 3-Line Rifle is the best sniper rifle to use in Warzone. Additionally, after the heavy nerfs to the UGM-8, the Bruen Mk9 is once again the best LMG in the game.

A Tier

In A Tier are a wide variety of options that are top tier viable and remain generally very balanced to use in Warzone. Essentially, these options are right outside of the main meta but are still able to get the job done and allow you to be competitive. While the Black Ops Cold War AUG appears to be relevant again for the first time in a long time, the STG44, Automaton, MAC-10, UGM-8, ZRG 20mm, HDR and Whitley have dropped here for those added to the S Tier.

B Tier

These weapons in B Tier remain viable in Season 4, but could all use some buffs to make more players seriously consider mastering them. Overall, these weapons are just fine but don't have anything that makes them stand out as fun or exciting options to use. A lot of these are fairly popular still but aren't as statistically sound compared to the guns above.

C Tier

  • 725
  • CARV.2
  • 1911 (BOCW)
  • M1916
  • DMR 14
  • EBR-14
  • FR 5.56
  • Hauer 77
  • Holger-26
  • ISO
  • KSP 45
  • M19
  • M60
  • M91
  • MG34
  • Mk2 Carbine
  • Model 680
  • 1911 (MW)
  • AK-47 (MW)
  • Origin 12 Shotgun
  • P90
  • R9-0 Shotgun
  • FN Scar 17

The C Tier includes guns that definitely could use a buff in Warzone. Taking a look at the list of options here, there just aren't any inspiring names worth grabbing in a custom loadout drop at the moment. The Black Ops Cold War AUG did some get nice buffs to its Damage, but it remains to be seen if that will inspire players to use it again.

D Tier

At this point in the tier list, these guns don't have a place in the meta at all. Although the higher end of this tier could perhaps be fine for players to still somehow get a kill or two, it gets pretty dreadful by the bottom of the list.
